Oxalis Triangularis, AKA Purple Shamrock ☘️ or Love Plant
Purple Shamrock (Oxalis Triangularis) is known for its purple clover-shaped foliage. Typically, this plant goes dormant during the winter months, so don’t let it fool you! You can expect eight growth months out of the year, March-October. Dormancy months are November-February.
Any common peat substrate will work for Oxalis.
Indirect light/filtered light is best. Direct sun will scorch foliage and cause the plant to go dormant.
Bottom water Oxalis when the top inch of soil is dry or the plant is noticeably drooping.
